Founded in 2012 by Kim Dalglish Abell who holds a Masters Degree in Education from Columbia University's Teachers College and a second Masters Degree in Education from Association Montessori Internationalein partnership with Loyola College. The Dalton School in Toronto was dedicated to providing an unparalleled educational experience for children of globally-minded parents. Our unique approach focused on fostering fluency in Mandarin, empowering students with a vital skill for the future. Though the school's journey has evolved, its core mission of nurturing bright, curious minds.
Our Educational Approach

Mandarin Immersion Program
Our foundational program immersed children in the Mandarin language from an early age. Through engaging activities, songs, and play, students developed natural fluency and a strong phonetic base, setting them on a path to bilingualism.
